Saturday Sessions Live is Out Now!

Music Factory Records proudly announces the upcoming release of Saturday Sessions, the latest offering from The All’s Eye, a rising supergroup featuring Ari Joshua (guitar), Ben Atkind (drums), and Kris Yunker (organ). Captured live in-studio, Saturday Sessions delivers a raw, analog-forward experience that blends soulful groove, psychedelic textures, and deep improvisational interplay. The tracks drop as the band gears up to play a few shows on the east coast this month. Also look for the release of their studio rendition of “Say What You Wanna Say” on May 9th, 2025.

The All's Eye captured live at Barbershop Studios by Emmy-winning producer Matt Rifino for his new series Saturday Sessions. These electrifying one-take performances, with minimal overdubs and multi-cam footage, showcase fresh renditions of Ari Joshua’s “Gramama” and “Say What You Wanna Say.” Reimagined with a gritty, psychedelic rock edge, the trio channels raw energy and chemistry, offering a fresh take on Joshua’s deep catalog.

Track Inspiration
The two track EP has two selections. “Gramama” honors Ari's late grandmother who ghostwrote sermons for her husband. Set to a gospel-inspired, electric bluegrass train beat, it's a soulful tribute. “Say What You Wanna Say” was first written for a boogaloo session with Skerik and Delvon Lamarr. Now reimagined by The All’s Eye, the track fuses edgy psych-rock and jazz-inflected improvisation into a bold, fresh rendition.

Lyric Inspiration
“Gramama” opens with “How lucid and beloved seem those days of which I covid,” a nod to Americana and bluegrass roots. It tells the story of a deep bond with a maternal ancestor, speaking through spirit and song. “Say What You Wanna Say” is about emotional freedom—expressing truth from the heart in a paradigm where time and space dissolve, reminding us we all come from the same source and are all one.

This dynamic session is part of a string of projects showcasing the band’s studio chemistry and genre-blurring sound. Recorded and produced with an emphasis on spontaneity and feel, the tracks highlight each musician’s distinct voice inside guitarist Ari Joshua’s dynamic original compositions while locking into a collective rhythm that’s fresh, fearless, and deeply rooted in groove traditions.

It was an honor to capture these songs live at Barbershop Studios with Emmy-winning producer Matt Rifino. This session gave new life to “Gramama” and “Say What You Wanna Say”—two songs close to my heart both with previous versions released. “Gramama” honors my late grandmother, a soulful spirit who inspired my roots. “Say What You Wanna Say” is a cry for emotional freedom and connection. With The All’s Eye, we let the music speak through raw chemistry, improvisation, and the joy of honest expression.
