Cherry Peach

Composer Ari Joshua  together with John Medeski, Billy Martin, and Jason Fraticelli together create a retro classic organ guitar funk classic in "Cherry Peach". Medeski’s keyboard layers  glide with grace, a free-flowing flourish of swampy funk, blanketed with fat organ tones bubbling up from below.  At the 40 second mark enters a catchy melody harmonized with Hendrix style fuzz faced guitars and vocal waterfall organ tones featured in the track over tight drum grooves from the legendary Billy Martin and thumping upright bass lines from Jason Fraticelli. While there is a unedited version of the quartet playing this track, this one was polished and colored and made all the more bouncy and playful in studio by multi instrumentalist and current  member of Duff Mckagen, Indigo Girls, and Stone Gossard’s Painted Sheild, the talented instrumentalist; Jeff Fielder.
