Beach House Mag features Roman Angelos’ “Tropical Nites” as an immersive, nostalgia-infused album that blends the sunny vibes of exotica with cinematic jazz and ambient textures. Created by Brooklyn-based producer Rich Bennett and released on Music Factory Records, the album draws inspiration from 60s and 70s library music, weaving together lush instrumental layers for a sound that feels both classic and contemporary.
With contributions from Brittany Anjou (vibraphone), Ben Zwerin (bass), Spencer Cohen (drums), Dennis Boolyoins (percussion), Rose Rutledge (flute), Kai Sandoval (trumpet), Nadav Nirenberg (trombone), and Deidre Rodman-Struck (piano), “Tropical Nites” captures the essence of balmy evenings, far-off beaches, and cinematic moods. The lead single, “Motorbike Journey”, sets the tone for the album’s rich, layered sound, offering a lush and atmospheric listening experience perfect for warm nights and relaxed gatherings.
