The Walkiway features The All’s Eye’s “Saturday Sessions” as a raw, high-energy live EP recorded at Barbershop Studios for Emmy-winning producer Matt Rifino’s new series. The project captures Ari Joshua (guitar), Ben Atkind (drums), and Kris Yunker (organ) at their most expressive, blending gospel, jazz, and psychedelic rock into a powerful two-track release.
The EP includes “Gramama”, a heartfelt, gospel-inspired tribute to Ari’s grandmother Granny Queenie, mixing electric bluegrass with soulful organ swells and bluesy guitar tones. The second track, “Say What You Wanna Say”, pushes the trio into bolder territory, evolving from its boogaloo origins into a psychedelic jazz-rock piece full of fearless improvisation and dynamic twists.
With its live, unfiltered sound and intense musical chemistry, “Saturday Sessions” stands as a testament to the trio’s creative power and raw performance energy.
