Sound Tulip highlights The All’s Eye’s “Saturday Sessions” as a raw, unfiltered live recording that captures the trio’s intense chemistry and dynamic energy. Recorded at Barbershop Studios for Matt Rifino’s Emmy-winning series, the EP features Ari Joshua (guitar), Ben Atkind (drums), and Kris Yunker (organ), each bringing a distinctive voice to the project.
The EP opens with “Gramama”, a heartfelt tribute to Ari’s late grandmother Granny Queenie, blending gospel grooves with soulful organ and emotive guitar work. The second track, “Say What You Wanna Say”, pushes the trio into heavier, psychedelic territory, combining freeform improvisation and tight, unpredictable rhythms for a bold, fearless performance.
With its honest, live-in-the-moment approach, “Saturday Sessions” captures the spirit of true collaboration and the power of spontaneous musical creation.
